Adding a Scene - Under 'Insert' pull down menu - insert scene
Deleting/Renaming a Scene - Under the 'Window' pull down menu - other panels - a small window will open and you will be able to see all you scenes and delete/rename/reorder scenes (Or just press Shift+F2)
These hotkeys will help you get by with flash faster because its a drag and takes a while to press as an example "keyframe" everytime you want to make one:

Colour: An object changes colour
Morphing: changing size (bigger, smaller) & shape, shape tween - Draw a shape on the first frame(ex:square), go on a frame farther down (ex:frame 40) and right click, insert blank keyframe, draw a different shape(ex: circle). Then, click on a frame in the middle (ex: frame 23), right click on that frame, click create shape tween. Then play :)
talking mouth – animated lip syncing, see “mouth shapes”
spinning wheel - riding a bike, moving vehicle, clock- clock- create your clock on a seperate layer from your hands. Start with one hand. place it where you want it on the clock, right click "convert to symbol", name it and make it a movie clip. Once that is done, move the little white circle that's in the middle, and put it to the desired spot where you want your hand to turn. Then go down to a farther frame, insert keyframe, move the hand a little and right click in the middle of that and create classic tween.
speed (of action): making it faster… slowing it down
zooming in/out, panning, tilting
continuous background: used for walking figure, moving car etc - Create your background on a seperate layer by saving a picture from google onto your hard drive. Enlarge the background to your liking, so that it is proportionate to everything else in your picture. On the first key frame, have the edge of the background on one side of the stage,say left, and on a keyframe farther down, say 50, have the background on the other side of the stage. In the middle, say frame 20, right click and create classic tween.
bone tool - moving arms & legs... articulating movements though joints
bouncing ball… ‘squash and stretch’ technique: 1. Draw a circle on the first frame. 2. Go to a frame further down (ex. 5 frames down), right click on that frame and insert key frame. on this frame, vertically stretch the circle and move it down a little. 3. repeat step 2 until the ball is almost at impact with the "ground". make sure not to stretch the circle too much each time. 4. for the frame that shows the ball hits the ground, equally stretch both sides of the ball horizontally, then vertically compress it, then drag the circle downwards so that it touches the ground. 5. to make the ball bounce back up, select all of the frames except for the last one (the one with the ball at impact)---right click and copy frames---go to the next frame---right click and paste frames---select the frames you've just pasted---right click and select reverse frames. 6. press enter--- voila :D
